Card Submission
You may submit cards from any round played to the handicap secretary for inclusion in your CONGU handicap calculation.  The card does not have to be from a BBGS event but must be clearly and accurately marked and signed by both the player and the scorer.  You must include the scorer's name and contact details should verification be required.  Damaged cards and those that are not signed or properly completed and those that are not accompanied by the scorer's details will be excluded.

CONGU Adjustments

Handicaps are calculated on stroke play relative to the standard scratch score (SSS).  For handicapping purposes, a "no score" or other high score is counted as the number of shots the player, with his handicap allowance, if playing under the stableford system would have scored a point, plus one.  The size of any adjustment depends upon your handicap category:

Category 1 (0 to 7.9)
Adjustment 0.1 per point

Category 2 (8.0 to 12.9)
Adjustment 0.2 per point

Category 3 (13.0 to 19.9)
Adjustment 0.3 per point

Category 4 (20.0 or more)
Adjustment 0.4 per point

Handicaps are increased by 0.1 for each round in excess of SSS plus your handicap, unless you are already at the maximum handicap of 28.
